Founded as Hisanao Kojima Store in Tanabe City, Kyoto and began production of Micro Flow Meters for a number of analysing and experimental devices. |

Nitrogen and Oxygen gas generators started getting produced at our plant. |

Acquired 11,184m2 of land in Uji Tawara-cho, Tsuduki-gun, Kyoto and also developed a new factory of 1,682m2 on this land. |

Our new office in Nagoya was developed. |

Developed our R&D wing on factory site of Uji Tawara. For introducing effective Nitrogen Gas Generator, we won Kyoto Small and Medium Enterprise Technology Grand Prize. |

Opened new offices in Fukuoka, Yokohama and Kyoto offices. New factory developed on Uji Tawara site. |

Started manufacturing Oxygen Enricher for home use after receiving permission from Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare for fabrication of quality based medical instruments. Also obtained our first ISO 90001 certificate. |

On 50th Anniversary, we changed our quarterly settlement accounts. |

100 ultra clean rooms were developed at our Uji Tawara factory. |
2003 |
Began R&D work for regional new development consortium. |

FP and FS Dual Business Division System was adopted. |

Got our second ISO certificate, ISO 14001. |

Received Kansai Front Runner Grand Prize. |

Kojima Instruments made its way to the list of Top 300 Medium and Small Sized Manufacturer. |

Hisatoshi Kojima became Chairman, and Mariko Kojima became President. Received Business Innovation Award First Prize in Japan from Association of Management Consultants. |

Our brand name changed from KOFLOC to KOFLOC Kyoto. New factory work on headquarter site (P1 factory) completed. Closed our factory at Ujitawara. Industry Merit Award received by Chairman Hisatoshi Kojima from Kyoto prefecture. |

100% owned local cooperation founded in Shanghai. |
